Using the Simmergreat™

Prior to use

It is a good idea to scrub your Simmergreat™ with warm water and a little bit of dish soap prior to first use.

Does it work on gas range and electric stove surface?

Yes, the Simmergreat™ works great on both gas and electric cooking surfaces.

Can I put my Simmergreat™ in the dishwasher?

Yes, but you may find that coating erodes over time. We recommend if and when you clean your Simmergreat™, you use a soft brush and warm water with a little bit of dish soap.

Can I use my Simmergreat™ on the grill or over an open flame while camping?

Yes, the Simmergreat™ is safe to use over a direct flame.

Handling

The Simmergreat™ should only be used on stable/level surfaces to avoid the risk of injury. The Simmergreat™ should not be handled while in use or after use as cast iron can become very hot. We recommend using metal tongs or an oven mitt to move or remove a hot/warm Simmergreat™ from the cooking surface.

What are the dimensions?

The Simmergreat™ is 9.5" Round and 1.75" Tall. It is designed to accommodate any standard cookware.
